Hi, work has presented me with a Toshiba Satellite Pro laptop.
I am grateful but...
It is SO SLOOOOW! This P4 xp I type on is a hare by comparison.
The situation is caused I am sure by Vista(Bizz) and the lappy only having 1G of ram but another problem is that the 55.7G C drive partition has only 8.8G free.
I have explored the C drive but can account for only 27G of the 28odd giggs (and "Win" is 22.5 G of that 27G).
There is another partition of the 100G drive with 49G spare on it but I cannot see anything that I can safely move from C to it.
Being a works machine I am limited in what I dare do and I am further thwarted because I can find no way to make a set of recovery discs('cos I am bound to bork this Toshy eventually!) something I have done for my W7 desk and laptop.
Grateful for any ideas.
Dave.
