Twice this week, either when I unplugged & replugged USB devices or when I simply moved the computer while it was on to access wires behind it it "partially froze".
What I mean is that the mouse and keyboard (and apparently all USB devices) stop working, but the computer seems to still be "conscious" (the HDD light keeps flashing).
What could be causing this? I've had and moved the same computer for 2-3 years and it never did this before.
Could it possibly be my video card or one of the other expansion cards that isn't secure and losing contact with the motherboard when I move the computer causing wires to tug on the cards? Would that cause the symptoms I described?
Thanks
