Booted up my laptop this morning which runs on W7. Got the wonderful 'a disk read error has occurred' instead of my home screen. Did a few restarts then came on here and followed instructions to make a recovery disk. Ran the disk only to then get blue screen telling me that 'a problem has been detected and windows shut down to prevent damage...' It does tell me to run chkdsk /f but I can't get any dialogue box up to do so. Any help would be appreciated.
