Hello!
I'm facing an issue with my Windows 7 desktop (currently typing this from a laptop, as the desktop is no longer accessible):
Basically, I was trying to get to safe mode to deactivate a graphics card (not important, as I never got the chance to do this). I tried restarting a couple of times and pressing F8, but instead of taking me to the boot menu, the screen simply went black (note that when starting my computer up normally, it works fine).
Thinking this was just a problem with the boot menu, I started my machine normally, accessed msconfig, and checked the box for Safe Mode under the Boot tab. The plan was to change this back once I was in Safe Mode and had made the necessary changes.
HOWEVER, now, every time I boot up my computer, it just goes to a black screen (my monitor actually just turns off, because it's not getting any signal). The computer's on, but apparently not displaying anything. And I can no longer boot in normal mode, because I changed the boot menu to always use safe mode.
Thanks for your help; any ideas on how to resolve this issue would be GREATLY appreciated
