Alright, so this is my dad's dinosaur of a PC.
He doesn't really care what he does to it until he gets BSOD and wants someone to help him fix it.
That's why I'm here now.
I don't even know where to start, I'm almost ready for everyone to tell me to euthanize the damn thing.
Every thing you do on that computer causes it to crash to BSOD.
I have tried to recover it but when I go to the eMachines specific application for recovery, it prompts me to restart to begin and then when it comes time to log on, I get the sign on screen asking for "Other User" and password.
When I use the administrator sign on, which is the only sign on, it says that it won't work. Not that the password is incorrect, or the user name, but that it can't even connect to figure it out.
Now, I really wouldn't be surprised if this is Malware. If it is, what can I do?
I just want my father to have this computer to work.
Thanks in advance.
