I'll hardly have any programs open and my cpu usage will bounce anywhere between 7% to 30% and back again. Pretty much any game I play has to be on low settings or ill suffer from insane amounts of lag. Sometimes even on low settings I'll have bad lag. My graphics card is a ATI Radeon HD 5570.
