Recently when I booted up my computer and everything and went into Chrome I was redirected from my usual start up page to the "dts search results", which I got from Java as a result of a unpatched error which hijacked my system. In panic, I reinstalled Win 7 (The operating disk that came with my computer) with the "Custom Install" option wiping any previous System Images and after that I reinstalled it and I was successfully on the default win 7 desktop. (I didn't install the included drivers disk as I didn't and still don't have it, I didn't get time however to install the drivers as I needed to go right after I installed the win7 disk) afteri installed the win 7 copy without my drivers, I booted it up again and got an error: disk read error occurred press ctrl+alt+del to restart. I obtained a new Win7 disk that isn't my computers, it's non-pirated and its a win7 home pentium SP1 64-bit disk along with 2 other drivers disks which match my computer model (DELL XPS 8300), one being a Drivers and Utilities p/n JRH1H rev. A02 June 2011 disk and the other drivers disk being a Drivers and Utilites p/n JRG1H rev. A03 October 2011 disk. I have tried installing my new win 7 disk and I can't install it due to setup being unable to create a system partition. The drivers disks get a compatibility error even though they are assigned to my conputer model. I have tried all disks except a Drivers and Documentations disk that is part of my computer. I am currently in start up repair and it has been going for a long, long time. I do not own the original drivers disk that came with my computer which was green unlike my new grey ones.
