I've a 3 month old Lenovo Ideapad Y580 that has an intermittent wifi cutting out issue. Sometimes it has to reset the wireless adapter to connect. After doing this for a few weeks I checked online for a fix. A few people said a Check Disk can get it sorted. So I ran one as normal. All fine until the reboot when suddenly C: has 19.4Gb spare out of 849Gb!
It's a weird HDD setup because C: is the main data HDD and D: is some kind of SSD extension (of D:) for booting up etc.
Anyway, C: did have 800Gb or so free until running Check Disk. Have run all kinds of utilities and they all show that only 50Gb ish has been used, which means the rest has just disappeared.
Any ideas?
Laptop isn't performing any different. Wifi issue is still present but at least there's not other lag/etc elsewhere.
