Originally I was having problems with Internet Explorer. An error message telling me internet explorer stopped working would come up and what looked like two website trying to come up. I would cancel out of it. Then tried to open accessories, system tools, internet explorer (disable add-ons) Which the last wasn't even there. Went to Manage add-ons and there were a few that wouldn't let me disable them. Nothing worked. So tried system restore to an earlier date. System restore ran for about four hours in a black screen. Force turn off computer and turn back on pushing F8. tried normal, safe mode, and other safe mode. Even tried safe mode putting in the virus disc. Nothing still a black screen. I don't have the original disc that came with the computer since it was given to us by a friend. Any suggestions?:confused:
