Whats really weird is it does this on all three of my computers (two desktop, one web book)...
My Audio service will routinely stop when watching movies, playing games or just sitting there silently. I can click on the volume icon to restart it but ill usually have to restart whatever program is currently using it.
I've seen people with the same problem on different forums but none of their solutions seem to work. I've tried setting the subsequent failure to 'restart the service' but to no avail. I've tried deleting my drives and reinstalling them, ive tried looking for new drivers, I've tried a new soundcard on one computer - i just cant work it out.
To my knowledge no files have been used on both my desktops so I cant understand it.
I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit on one and 32 bit on the other pc. Both with service pack 1.
