DVD/CD-ROM missing from Computer

Dear Community,

I have recently found out that my laptop is missing DVD/CD-ROM from my laptop. I have checked device manager the whole dvd/cd-rom section is missing from device manager.

The driver is operating fine as i am able to boot from it but i am unable to use it while logged in on windows itself.

if you google the information you will likely to find that there is Microsoft fix-it utility but it does not solve the problem. i have also deleted the the upper and lower filters but still the problems exists.

I have also unpluged and plug the dvd/cd-rom drive from the motherboard but i am unable to find solution to the problem.

Additionally, i have also perfumed sfc /scannow and registry fix along with running windows repair consul but I am unable to find the solution.

I have also used the dell hardware diagnostic utility and its shows that the driver is working fine but its just the windows which is not recognising the problem.
