My laptop is currently running at reduced speeds.
A few weeks ago the laptop overheated (it shut itself down) on games i have been playing for a year. I did not use this computer on a pillow or something like that. It was always placed on a table. Since this overheating the problem started.
Games and programs that ran smooth, are now running slow.
The laptop only reaches 70°c and uses less than 3Gb of it's 8Gb RAM on full load.
I installed the latest drivers from the manufacturers site, this did not solve the problem.
My laptop:
HP Envy 17 2130eb
Intel i7 2630qm
ATI Radeon HD 6850M - Intel Mobile HD
8GB RAM
Windows7 Home Premium x64
