I'm at college and used to receive a solid 80mb/s through ethernet in my dorm, however being the avid downloader that i am it seems my speed is being capped below 1mb/s perhaps to reduce my downloading. My wifi speed remains unchanged (around 20mb/s) and i have testing multiple friends computers using the same port and same ethy cable but they all achieve my previous 80mb/s. What's going on and how do i fix this?!
heres my test results from measurementlab.net which i hope will help diagnose the problem!
thanks in advance.
