I turned on my Lenovo laptop today after not having used it for about a week. It proceeded to do over 38,000 updates. I have no idea what they were all about. But when I finally logged in I was not able to connect to the Internet although I had an excellent connection to my router. Both my iPhone and my iPad are successfully connected to the same router right not so I don't think there is an issue with my router itself. I've tried all the suggestions I've seen in this venue and in others but nothing works. Can someone please help! There was also a message about an IP address conflict - that there was another device with the same IP address. I have no idea what this means or how to resolve it.
