I have a 2012 Asus laptop running Windows 7 (i5 processor w/ 6GB RAM)'
Lately, I have been getting a error message when trying to launch Photoshop CS5. The program starts most of the way, and then a pop-up error announces: The instruction at 0x76f4c5f7 referenced memory at 0x01bc9058. The memory could not be read. The only option is to click OK, which closes the application.
I also get the same message popup if I leave JPEGs on my desktop which do not display a 'previewed' icon.
I've run several different virus scans and come up with nothing. I don't think Photoshop itself is corrupt, because it affects regular JPEG files, and none of the other Adobe applications are affected. Thoughts?
