Hey guys, I just had a quick question... I'm dealing with a client's computer here at a repair shop, and he wants to update to Windows 7, but his SSD is totally full, mostly because of a really bloated C:\windows\winsxs folder... since I'm upgrading it to Windows 7, I need 20 GB free. Would it be safe to cut/paste the folder elsewhere to complete the upgrade?
I know, of course, I can't just remove it and expect it to work fine - but I'm thinking the upgrade process will give the computer all new system files in that Windows folder anyway... so maybe it won't need the old Vista winsxs folder anyway?
Thanks in advance for any help I can get :)
