Blank screen - monitor

I have a new computer and trying to get my multiple display video card to activate, i went into Device Manager and turned off the display adapter (there were two there, but I turned off the one I believed was for the mother board. can't remember what the two options were). I thought this was the way I did it in my last PC, but it immediately turned off the monitor and when I rebooted, I got nothing. Neither on the Motherboard VGA nor on output of the VDI from the card.

I have a Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H motherboard and a SSD drive. the graphics card is a Galaxy MDT-GT610.

Now here's the catch...in the last 2 weeks with this new PC, it boots up in 10-15 seconds...and there is never anything that flashes up on the screen...in 10 seconds, you have the Windows login screen. So at this point in time, I press Del , or F8, or F12...I the screen remains blank. Not sure if it's in bios, in Windows etc... How do I get something back on my monitor???
thanks
