Default profile problem

Hi,

I'm trying to create a new default profile, with custom desktop icons etc.

So I log into the built-in administrator account and delete the only other existing user profile. I setup the admin account profile how I want with desktop shortcuts and custom settings etc. Then I use a live ubuntu disk to rename the 'default' account to default.bak and copy-paste the administrator account and rename to 'Default', Then I log back into the windows administrator account and mark my new 'Default' profile as hidden. So then I sysprep the system ready for imaging, but when a new profile is created it does everything I expect, except the desktop has a desktop.ini file thats not hidden, same shows in the start menu and in every folder that I open, there is a desktop.ini file. Can anyone tell me why this is happening please?

Thanks
