Hey, folks. I've posted a couple other times more or less on the same subject here, but this time it's a new problem and so I need a new solution.
My computer has been randomly 'falling asleep' in a manner of speaking; I'll be doing something, and it'll just decide to go to sleep. Everything for all intensive purposes is shut down, but the computer itself is still on. Keyboard interface doesn't change at all, any sort of audio input that may have been going on stops, etc. The only thing that seems to work at all is the little mini-view on my tower.
For reference, I've got an XPS 420, running Vista SP2 Home.
I first experienced the problem some time after I installed Vista, and I eventually replaced my power supply, which fixed it- until now. I had just booted up Dungeons and Dragons Online and was in the character creation screen when it happened again.
So, anybody have an idea of what I might do to figure this out?
