i cant get my videos to stop stuttering while playing the audio is fine but the video stutters. this has never happened till recent ! i dont know how to fix this glitch:banghead:

Windows Registry Errors
Hello. I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right thread and if it's wrong then pleae move it to the appropriate thread.
I currently having a problem on my Window Home Premium with the registry with Base Filtering System and Diagnostic Policy not working. These not working leading to other problems with my laptop in the network going off and then crashing my laptop and firewall not working. I have done:

- sfc/scan now and doesn't pick up anything in the scan
- Tried to start them in regedit and getting error 5 (access denied) and 87 on BFE.
- System Restore back to fix it... but still the same problem .
- Used Malwarebytes, Microsoft Security Essentials and CCleaner (to fix registry problem.
- Re-installing the wifi hardware and reinstalling
- I have used fixit and didn't fix anything but shown up with firewall trouble
- I have used CMD on Admin to try the network add local and I get saying it's already been done.
I hope someone can help me to try and fix this problem

When using taskkill /f /im excel.exe -Unable to kill process without confirmation msg

I have a batch file namely kill.bat and the contents of the file is as below:-
taskkill /f /im excel.exe
When I run this kill.bat in the Windows2008 server after login as administrator user, the batch file removes the excel.exe and closes all the excel files without any confirmation message (irrespective of the excel file status,
(1)whether the files are open and do not have any modifications (or)
(2)whether the files are open and having some user modifications, but not yet saved.
But, when the same kill.bat is called from a simple web application (.NET based web application) and the application accesses the excel file as IIS_IUSRS, we are getting a Confirmation window message
as "Want to Save your changes to Book1?".
My requirement is this message should not come and even when the kill.bat is called by web application and with web service user as IIS_IUSRS.
Request you to kindly help in this. Thanks a lot.

Windows wont wake up from sleep, hibernation or turned off for a short time
My computer is to be having some problems booting when it has been asleep/hibernating/turned off. At first it seemed to be just when it had been asleep or hibernating, but recently it wont boot after being turned off for a short while (an hour or so).
What happens, is that after turning it on, I get a "No signal" message on my monitor, and nothing shows up on it. The computer turns on, it makes the usual noises, but no signal comes through to the monitor.
The only way I can seem to get it started after this is if I leave it unplugged for a while, usually at least an hour and a half or so, then it will either boot from scratch or resume Windows from sleep/hibernation.
I never have the problem turning it on at the beginning of the day when it's been off all night, so it's as if it needs to be off for a long while for some reason.
I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit on an AMD A10-5800K and Gigabyte F2A85X-D3H, with 8GB RAM.

Word 2007 - changing fonts
I have a problem connected with Microsoft Word 2007. It is caused by the fact that I've set too small font-size. Now I want to have it automatically changed to a larger size by letting the program replacing all text sized 9 of Calibri font with text sized 10 of Arial Narrow font. Exactly, I mean that program should search for all text sized 9 of Calibri and replace it. I don't know how to do this...

Two hard drives suddenly won't format
For the last 5 years I had been using 2.5" removable hard drives for my partial daily backup.
When I last switched drives with one in the safe Windows said it couldn't format it, but going in computer management I was able to delete the volume and then I can format it.
Today as I switched disks again the same thing happened. Why is Windows suddenly unable to format hard drives? I highly doubt both drives failed at the same time especially since they work fine after deleting the volume and formatting. I do have a 3rd backup disk I haven't yet tried formatting.
Why can I no longer format hard drives? I doubt it's an issue with the drives themselves as it's too much of a coincidence.
This won't be much of an issue as the first time I got the error I started looking at returning to a tape drive which I have since bought and installed, but I'm still in the process of testing different backup programs to find which I prefer so I'm still doing backups to hard drives until I've decided.

URGENT! Windows Cannot Repair Autostart Cannot Read Files

Our computer did not shut down and gave the message "cannot shut down."
Upon re-starting, now there is the message:
"Windows cannot repair autostart"
"Cannot read files"

Screen Capture in Paint Shop Pro X2 Not Working
I have a Dell Inspiron 3647, that came with Windows 7. When Windows 10 came out, they had a free upgrade download, as I'm sure you know. I upgraded to Windows 10, but had a lot of problems with compatibility with my older programs that I am using. Because of that, I downgraded back to my Windows 7. It was over 30 days , so I had to do a clean install and re-install Windows 7. I had a Windows 7 disc and drivers, so it was not a problem. When I re-installed Paint Shop Pro X2 program, I had a problem with Paint Shop Pro screen capture working. It did work in Windows 10. I have run Paint Shop Pro in compatibility mode, with no success.:angry: Can anyone suggest things I might try to get it working again? Any help appreciated.

Disk Full???
My computer will not allow me to download or save anything. Message is disc is full. I have cleaned everything off of the computer except for the few programs I use. No pictures, music or data is saved. Is this a virus? How can I fix it? Thanks

Continual "USB disconnect" sound. 7 times per min
Hi all,
long time since a visit, still keeping the place going, onya's.
I have an issue I have never seen before!
on a HP 6710b loaded with Win7 Pro, after getting it going I get this very annoying "Da Dah" sound as tho a USB device disconnecting. 7 times per minute.
I have been right thru this thing and can't find anything wrong. Hijack comes up pretty clean as does Trend Premium. Disabled all I can find etc...
Starting to think a dodgy USB connector on laptop?
Other than that, I'm stumped.
Anyone encountered this before?

Hey guys! I've run into a problem with my laptop's (Asus Zenbook UX21E 11.6" Ultrabook) wifi connection. It's running a Windows 7 Home Premium OS and I wasn't sure if this was where to post this specific problem, but I don't think it's a browser issue neither since Internet Explorer and Firefox do the same thing. This also happens with other wifi connections, not just my home.
There are some sites that prompt me about a problem with the website's security certificate It then automatically re-directs me to this page here.

PC taking 2.5 mins to boot up
hi,
so it is taking 2.5 mins to get into desktop on win7. i ran pc tune up, checked for malware. any other ideas?

Dell Inspiron N7010 VERY slow startup before Win
Hi. I have cleaned and removed various items from startup by using CCleaner and msconfig. they just come right back up. But now I went into regedit and see that there are folders I don't recognize. the long delay is before windows starts. please help. thanks
